Re-Inspection and Re-Certification of Fall Protection Systems
Following on from the installation of its fall protection systems, K Contracts Ltd offers the statutory, periodic inspections necessary for keeping systems safe and compliant.
Under BS7883:2005, any permanent height safety system, such as a Fall Arrest System, must be certified at least once every 12 months by a competent person, preferably an installer.
Under The Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1988 (LOLER), an Abseil System must be load tested every six months.
K Contracts Ltd is an approved inspector of fall protection systems and will inspect your system for the following:
- Broken Wires
- Wear/Abrasion
- Crushing/Bulging
- Bends/Kinks
- Corrosion
- Heat damage
- Unravelling/Bird-Caging
- Loose Fixings
- Damaged Posts
We will provide you with a full report upon completion of the inspection with a 12 month or a six month certificate as appropriate – subject to any remedial works required.
